New Ink Day - June 7

Actually, these were delivered earlier this week but I just now got to open, swatch, and sample them. I got Diamine “Aurora Borealis”, Pilot Iroshizuku “Kon-Peki”, and Pilot Iroshizuku “Syo-Ro”. Clearly blueish/greenish and teal are my favorite colors…

I had ordered the Diamine as part of a notebook order. The wife saw that I had the two Pilot inks in my wishlist and added them to an order without me realizing. She’s the best.

I thought they all had more sheen to them, but I’m only seeing it in the Syo-Ro. I know it depends on paper and pen/nib; I’ll have to test them in some other notebooks and with other pens to see.

I also started an ink journal (photos below - pardon my handwriting) in addition to my Col-O-Ring swatches I make (not pictured).
